Bacon & Cheddar Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 4 cans or 8 cups cut green beans, drained
  • 2 cans or 10.5 ounces Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup, or other brand
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shreddar Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped, or 1 cup bacon bits
  • 2 2/3 cups French's® French Fried Onions, or other brand

Preparation:

Combine together the soup, milk, half of the cheese, most of the bacon, black pepper, green beans and 1 1/3 cups of onions in a three-quart baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling and the beans are tender (bake a little longer if even softer beans are desired). Stir the bean mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese, onions and bacon. Bake for 5 more minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
